NEW YORK, May 16, 2006 – GlobalOptions Group, Inc. (OTCBB: GLOI), a leading provider of domestic and international risk management services, today announced that it has acquired privately held Secure Source, Inc., for $3.25 million in notes and stock and the assumption of certain obligations.

Founded in 1994, Secure Source is an international risk consulting firm specializing in outsourced and crisis management solutions, business intelligence, complex investigations, due diligence assignments, and executive protection services on a global basis. Secure Source’s clients include Fortune 500 corporations, law firms, and other global organizations. In 2005, Secure Source generated revenue of $4.4 million.
